Designed to absorb the freeze-up that occurs in swimming pool skimmers during the winter months, the regular Gizzmo is 9-inches long and installs in short skimmers which are found in above ground and in-ground swimming pools. It has 1.5-inch threads and features a bar style grip for easy handling. The Gizzmo works well with Teflon tape. This Teflon tape is a very thin white tape used to wrap the threaded ends of pipes. Utilizing this tape improves the water tightness of a joint. The Gizzmo is usually designed for single season use. Don’t forget to recycle the product as well!
