SuperSonic is a multi-purpose product that sanitizes, clarifies, prevents algae, and shocks your pool. It’s very easy to use, convenient, and will not over-stabilize your pool water. This product does not contain cyanuric acid and works with pools of all surfaces and leaves no worrisome residue.

Using this product is easy. Add the recommended dose of the product during the evening or “off-hours” while the filter is running. Add the product to the pool over a wide area in the deepest side of the pool. This is also called broadcasting. Use a measuring scoop that’s clean and dry to measure this product. Any settling of granules toward the bottom of the pool you can use a brush to disperse.

Pool Opening

Always adjust and maintain pH in the range of 7.2 to 7.6. Go ahead and follow the “Shock Treatment” directions that are located on the packaging. At this time, you should allow 30 minutes for the product to disperse. After this time period is up, you should test free chlorine with a pool test kit and repeat the treatment if it’s needed.

Shocking the Pool

Shocking your pool may be something that you do every 7 days or as is necessary to prevent larger issues and ensure healthy pool water. Super chlorinate by adding 9 oz. to 18 oz. per 10,000 gallons to provide a range of 5 to 10 parts per million (ppm) of available chlorine.

Algae Control

If you see algae then it would be advisable to commence a shock treatment. Add SuperSonic as close as possible to the algae outbreak. Thoroughly clean the pool by brushing the surface, vacuum, and cycle through the filter. It would also be good to adopt regular use of an algaecide.

Additional Pool Issues
